About The Artist

Debbie Knight is an abstract artist working mainly in oil, with experimentation using other media.

Her ideas are drawn from an evolving personal vocabulary of marks, a love of colour and layering.

Debbie is a qualified teacher with BA (Hons) in Art with Qualified teacher status.

 

Alongside developing her own style as an expressive and painterly abstract oil painter, Debbie has also worked on collaborative projects aimed at spreading art through the community.

Debbie has participated in many group exhibitions over the past ten years, but in 2020 she had her first major exhibition at New Maynard gallery in Welwyn Garden City.
